James has been a residential and commercial building code inspector for the City of Madison for the last ten years. He has been teaching building code for the last ten years to building contractors, mechanical contractors, architects, engineers, fire suppression specialists, and other building inspectors. For the past 30 years he has been involved in the building industry and has owned his own commercial construction company and worked for a commercial construction company.
