Cities and counties across Wisconsin are setting community-wide climate goals—goals to eliminate carbon emissions from all sources by 2050. The goals are relevant to builders because a home built today will still be part of the picture (good or bad) in 2050. This two-part session is an opportunity to learn about the goals and priorities local governments are setting and then, in the second part, to help co-create strategies that work for all stakeholders—builders and contractors as well as local governments and residents. If you’ve ever said “I wish someone had talked to us before they mandated X,” then you should be in this two-part session, helping to shape the future.
