This session highlights the Wisconsin single family Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC). Discover code violations that we encounter daily when we are performing inspections. James will cover almost all aspects of the code from footing and foundation issues, alternative footing options, framing issues from point loading to trusses and wall bracing, new products that are now available to make framing issues easier to accommodate, deck problems that we see and insulation and energy code problems in new construction of homes. Pictures from current jobs that show the issues we encounter will be shared and audience participation is encouraged.
